Certifications
Certifications issued by accredited bodies are now a real “must have” for companies that want to compete in an increasingly global and interconnected market.
Customers themselves often require manufacturing companies to be certified, effectively excluding those that are not.
Thanks to partnerships with accredited bodies, we are able to offer support for the main sector certifications.
ISO 9001 QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM CERTIFICATION
ISO 9001 defines the minimum requirements that an organisation’s Quality Management System must demonstrate in order to guarantee product and service quality. It represents the best-known international standard and can be applied to any organisation, regardless of size, type and economic sector.
ISO 22716 COSMETIC GMP
UNI EN ISO 22716 sets the Guidelines for the production, control, storage and shipment of cosmetic products with the aim of guaranteeing consumers high safety and hygiene standards. It is the harmonised reference text used to demonstrate compliance with the Good Manufacturing Practices required by Regulation 1223/2009. It is applicable to all cosmetic products and takes into consideration all factors and activities relevant to obtaining the cosmetic product.
ORGANIC AND VEGAN
Product certifications related to “Organic” and “Vegan” claims arise from the need to create specifications capable of guaranteeing compliance with the principles behind these definitions.
If eco-bio products were initially a niche market, major distribution manufacturers have also adapted to the trend of the moment by adding natural ingredients to formulas, placing images of plants and flowers on labels and promoting claims and logos referring to the organic world.
It is important to properly inform consumers about misleading behaviours that some cosmetic manufacturers may adopt, while protecting the many other producers who strongly believe in organic cosmetics and, more generally, in the sustainability of all the processes leading to the finished product.
