Laboratory Testing
Thanks to our network of contacts and partners, we have developed collaborations with external company laboratories and universities able to offer a complete laboratory testing service.
Main Safety Tests
Patch Test
This test evaluates the primary tolerability of a cosmetic product under severe conditions by assessing the possible onset of visible irritation phenomena such as erythema and/or oedema.
- 48-hour PATCH TEST on normal and combination skin (occlusive, semi-open, open)
- 48-hour PATCH TEST on sensitive skin (occlusive, semi-open, open)
Challenge Test (ISO 11930:2019)
The Challenge Test makes it possible to assess the effectiveness of the preservative system chosen for the cosmetic product under examination. By simulating daily use through the inoculation of selected pathogenic microorganisms, it is possible to demonstrate the effectiveness of the preservatives used.
